I  extremely happy that DAV Sr. Sec. Public School Sec-8 , Panchkula is leaving its foot-prints on the World Wide Web. The school website will ensure global search to the school and help in propagating DAV values. It will be a source of information about the school and reference point for school alumnae. In today’s global competitive environment, the schooling has acquired a whole new purpose. Children are constantly in touch with information through the use of internet and television. Geo-political barriers hold little significance in the present world which is ever shrinking thanks to technological developments. It is imperative that the onus of producing ethically grounded, well rounded, high function citizens of India be placed on the schooling system. My best wishes to the school and to the students
